END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and ZEITGEISTLABOR regarding the use of the software product "The Empathy Algorithm" ("Software").

1. License Grant
The Software is licensed, not sold. ZEITGEISTLABOR grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

2. Restrictions
You may not:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, sublicense, or reverse engineer the Software
- Use the Software for commercial purposes without explicit permission
- Remove or alter any copyright notices

3. Ownership
All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, audio, code, and narrative elements, is the intellectual property of ZEITGEISTLABOR, unless otherwise stated.

4. Third-Party Software
The Software may include third-party components, including but not limited to:
- Ren’Py Visual Novel Engine
- Steamworks API

These components are subject to their respective licenses.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty
The Software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. ZEITGEISTLABOR does not guarantee that the Software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

6. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ZEITGEISTLABOR be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.

7. Termination
This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with this Agreement.

8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of GERMANY.

By installing or using the Software, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
