1. General Terms of Use

1.1 Scope

These terms apply to the use of all online features of Space Tournament, in particular leaderboards, mission sharing, competitions, and community features.

1.2 Code of Conduct

To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players, the following rules apply:

• Do not use offensive, discriminatory, or inappropriate usernames or content.
  
• Be respectful towards other players and their content.
  
• Any form of cheating or manipulation is strictly prohibited – especially if it gives you an unfair advantage in high scores, missions, or competitions.

1.3 Measures in Case of Violations

In the event of violations, we reserve the right to take the following actions:

• Remove content
  
• Issue warnings
  
• Suspend or delete your account for online features

These measures are intended to protect the community and maintain the integrity of the game.

1.4 Changes and Discontinuation of Service

The online features of Space Tournament are an optional add-on. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue them in the future, for example due to low usage or technical/commercial reasons.

If the online features are discontinued, we will inform players in advance whenever possible. The offline mode will remain available.

2. Privacy Policy

2.1 What Data We Process

When using the online features, the following data may be processed:

• Username and ID: shown in leaderboards and discoverable by other players.
  
• Leaderboard data: your top scores are stored globally and displayed publicly.
  
• Missions & content: missions you publish are linked to your username.
  
• Email address: required e.g. for competition participation. Your email may be used to contact you about winnings or important game updates. You can unsubscribe from such messages at any time.

2.2 Purpose of Data Processing

The mentioned data is used exclusively to provide the online features:

• Display of leaderboards and content
  
• Sharing missions with other players
  
• Contacting you, e.g. in case of competitions

There is no sharing of data with third parties for advertising purposes.

2.3 Use of Service Providers

Technical data may be processed on servers operated by our service providers (e.g. for hosting or email services). These providers act on our behalf and are also bound by data protection regulations.

2.4 Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data stored about you
  
• Delete your online data
  
• Withdraw your consent to data processing (online features will then no longer be available)
