            <b>LiteRect - End User License Agreement (EULA)</b><br><i>Last Updated: 2026.04.22</i><br><br><div class="bb_h2">1. Introduction</div><br><b>This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (the "User") and the developer of LiteRect ("Developer") for the software product LiteRect.</b><br><br><div class="bb_h2">2. License Grant</div><br><b>The Developer grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use LiteRect on devices you own or control.</b><br><br><b>This license is granted strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.</b><br><br><div class="bb_h2">3. Restrictions</div><br><b>You agree not to, and you will not permit others to sublicense, sell, rent, lease, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit the software.</b><br><br><b>You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the software.</b><br><br><b>You may not remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice, including copyright or trademark notices.</b><br><br><div class="bb_h2">4. Privacy & Data Security</div><br><b>LiteRect is designed to be a local-first utility.</b><br><br><b>The software does not collect, upload, or share any of your personal files, desktop paths, or usage habits.</b><br><br><b>All desktop organization logic is performed locally on your machine, ensuring maximum privacy.</b><br><br><div class="bb_h2">5. Disclaimer of Warranties</div><br><b>The software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind.</b><br><br><b>Since LiteRect interacts with the Windows Shell (Explorer.exe), the Developer does not guarantee that the software will be compatible with all third-party system themes or shell enhancements.</b><br><br><b>To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any data loss (e.g., desktop icon displacement) or system instability caused by the use or inability to use the software.</b><br><br><div class="bb_h2">6. Termination</div><br><b>This Agreement shall remain in effect until terminated by you or the Developer.</b><br><br><b>Your rights under this Agreement will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term(s) of this Agreement.</b><br><br><div class="bb_h2">7. Governing Law</div><br><b>This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Developer resides, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.</b>
