La preghiamo di leggere attentamente la presente Licenza prima d’installare il programma (“Prodotto Multimediale”).
La presente Licenza ha il valore di un accordo tra lei l’utente (l’”Utente”) e Ubisoft Entertainment e/o i suoi concessionari e/o gli aventi diritto (“Ubisoft”), che conferisce all’utilizzatore un diritto non esclusivo e non cedibile del Prodotto Multimediale.
Installando il Prodotto Multimediale, l’ Utente s’impegnerà a rispettare i termini e le condizioni della presente Licenza.

By installing the Multimedia Product, the User undertakes to respect the terms and conditions of the Licence.
1- La Licenza
The Licence
Ubisoft conferisce all’utilizzatore una Licenza d’uso non esclusiva e non cedibile del Prodotto Multimediale, restando in tal modo proprietaria di tutti i diritti afferenti.
I diritti che non saranno specificatamente trasferiti dalla presente Licenza, resteranno proprietà esclusiva di Ubisoft.
Il Prodotto Multimediale è dato in licenza all’Utente e non venduto, ad uso esclusivamente privato.
La presente Licenza non conferirà alcun diritto o titolo sul Prodotto Multimediale e non dovrà essere intesa come un trasferimento dei diritti di proprietà intellettuale sul Prodotto Multimediale.
Ubisoft grants the User a non-exclusive and non-transferable Licence to use the Multimedia Product, but remains the owner of all the rights relating thereto.
Any rights not specifically transferred by this Licence remain the property of Ubisoft.
The Multimedia Product is licensed and not sold to the User, for private use.
The Licence does not confer any right or title to the Multimedia Product and cannot be understood as a transfer of intellectual property rights to the Multimedia Product.

THE MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT IS PROTECTED BY DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE (“DRM SOFTWARE”). THE USER HEREBY AGREES, ACKNOWLEDGES AND CONSENTS TO THE FOLLOWING REGARDING THE DRM SOFTWARE: (I) THAT THE INSTALLATION OF THE MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT WILL CAUSE THE DRM SOFTWARE TO BE INSTALLED ON THE USER’S COMPUTER; (II) THE DRM SOFTWARE LIMITS THE NUMBER OF INSTALLATIONS OF THE MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT; (III) THE DRM SOFTWARE INSTALLS ON THE USER’S COMPUTER ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS REQUIRED FOR COPY PROTECTION; AND (IV) DURING THE INSTALLATION AND/OR THE FIRST LAUNCH, AN ONLINE CONNECTION IS REQUIRED TO UNLOCK THE MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT THROUGH THE DRM SOFTWARE. 2- Proprietà del Prodotto Multimediale
UBISOFT AGREES FOR A PERIOD OF THIRTY (30) DAYS FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE TO REFUND THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE UNUSED MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT TO THE USER FOR THE UNUSED MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT. “UNUSED” IS DEFINED TO MEAN THAT ANY USER DID NOT USE ANY ACTIVATION KEYS OF THE MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT. BY INSTALLING OR OTHERWISE USING THIS MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND TO THESE TERMS. IF YOU DO NOT ACCEPT THEM, DO NOT INSTALL OR OTHERWISE USE THIS MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT. INSTEAD, ASK TO UBISOFT FOR A REFUND OR CREDIT.
L’Utente riconosce che l’insieme dei diritti relativi al Prodotto Multimediale e a i suoi elementi distintivi (e in particolare: titoli, codici informatici, temi, personaggi, nomi dei personaggi, intrighi, storie, dialoghi, ambientazioni, concetti, immagini, fotografie, animazioni, video, musiche e testi incorporati nel Prodotto Multimediale), nonché qualsivoglia diritto relativo al marchio, al diritto d’autore e copyright, sono proprietà esclusiva di Ubisoft e sono pertanto salvaguardati dalla normativa francese, nonché da altre leggi, trattati e accordi internazionali in materia di proprietà intellettuale.
3- Utilizzo del Prodotto Multimediale
Ownership of the Multimedia Product
L’Utente è autorizzato a utilizzare Prodotto Multimediale in modo conforme alle istruzioni fornite nel manuale o riportate sulla confezione del Prodotto stesso.
La presenta Licenza sarà pertanto accordata nell’ambito di un esclusivo uso personale.
The User recognises that all of the rights associated with the Multimedia Product and its components (in particular the titles, computer codes, themes, characters, character names, plots, stories, dialogues, places, concepts, images, photographs, animation, videos, music and text contained in the Multimedia Product), as well as the rights relating to the trademark, royalties and copyrights, are the property of Ubisoft and are protected by French regulations or other Laws, Treaties and international agreements concerning intellectual property.
Sono espressamente vietati:
- La realizzazione di copie del Prodotto Multimediale.
- Lo sfruttamento commerciale del Prodotto Multimediale.
- Un uso contrario alla morale o alle leggi attualmente in vigore.
- Interventi di ogni tipo sul Prodotto Multimediale nonché la creazione di qualsiasi programma ad esso ispirato.
- La trasmissione su rete telefonica del Prodotto Multimediale o tramite qualsiasi altro mezzo elettronico, salvo nel corso delle partite a più giocatori, tramite i canali autorizzati.
- La creazione o la diffusione di livelli e/o di soggetti non espressamente autorizzati.
- La decompilazione, la reverse engineering o la frammentazione del Prodotto Multimediale.
Use of the Multimedia Product
All’Utente non sarà consentito di vendere, concedere in sublicenza, nè tantomeno di noleggiare a terzi il Prodotto Multimediale.
L’Utente potrà trasferire il Prodotto Multimediale solo nel caso in cui il destinatario dichiari d’accettare i termini e le condizioni della presente Licenza. In questo caso, l’Utente si farà carico di trasferire tutte le componenti e la documentazione relativi al Prodotto Multimediale. L’Utente s’impegnerà altresì a cancellare dal suo computer qualsiasi copia del Prodotto Multimediale. In questo caso, la presente Licenza sarà da considerarsi automaticamente e immediatamente risolta.
The User is authorised to use the Multimedia Product in accordance with the instructions provided in the manual or on the packaging of the Multimedia Product.
The Licence is granted solely for private use.

It is not permitted:
To make copies of the Multimedia Product,
To operate the Multimedia Product commercially,
To use it contrary to morality or the laws in force,
To modify the Multimedia Product or create any derived work,
To transmit the Multimedia Product via a telephone network or any other electronic means, except during multi-player games on authorised networks,
To create or distribute unauthorised levels and/or scenarios,
To decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the Multimedia Product.
4- Risoluzione della Licenza
The User cannot sell, sublicense or lease the Multimedia Product to a third party.
The User can only transfer the Multimedia Product if the recipient agrees to the terms and conditions of the Licence. In this event, the User undertakes to transfer all components and documentation relating to the Multimedia Product. He also undertakes to delete any copy of the Multimedia Product from his computer. In this event, this Licence is automatically and immediately terminated.
The User acknowledges that Ubisoft may collect and use certain User data in accordance with the privacy policy accessible on the website http://www.ubi.com/US/Info/Info.aspx?tagname=PrivacyPolicy.
La presente Licenza entrerà in vigore dalla prima utilizzazione del Prodotto Multimediale.
Essa sarà automaticamente risolta da Ubisoft senza previa comunicazione all’utilizzatore, in caso d’inadempimento di quest’ultimo dei termini e delle condizioni contenuti nella presente Licenza.
5- Garanzia
Termination of the Licence
Ubisoft offre Assistenza Tecnica. Quando ci contattate, cercate di essere il più precisi possibile riguardo al problema riscontrato e accertatevi di comunicare i dettagli elencati qui di seguito:
The Licence is effective from the first time the Multimedia Product is used.
It is terminated automatically by Ubisoft without notice if the User fails to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Licence.

Warranty
Ubisoft warrants to the original purchaser of its products (the “User”) that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Ubisoft products are sold "as is", without any expressed or implied warranties of any kind, and Ubisoft is not liable for any losses or damages of any kind resulting from use of its products. Ubisoft agrees for a period of ninety (90) days (or any other longer warranty period provided by applicable legislation) to either replace defective product free of charge provided you return the defective item with dated proof of purchase to the store from which the product was originally purchased or repair or replace the defective product at its option free of charge, when accompanied with a proof of purchase and sent to our offices postage prepaid. This warranty is not applicable to normal wear and tear, and shall be void if the defect in the product is found to be as a result of abuse, unreasonable use, mistreatment or neglect of the product.

Se il software viene spedito senza la prova d'acquisto o a periodo di garanzia scaduto, Ubisoft sarà libera di ripararlo o sostituirlo a spese del cliente. WarrantyLimitation
The User recognises expressly that he uses the Multimedia Product at his own risk.
The Multimedia Product is provided as is. The User is responsible for any costs of repairing and/or correcting the Multimedia Product.
To the extent of what is laid down by the Law, Ubisoft rejects any warrantee relating to the market value of the Multimedia Product, the User’s satisfaction or its capacity to perform a specific use.
The User is responsible for all risks connected with lost profit, lost data, errors and lost business or other information as a result of owning or using the Multimedia Product.
As some legislations do not allow for the aforementioned warrantee limitation, it is possible that it does not apply to the User.
Liability
In no event can Ubisoft be held liable for any direct, consequential, accidental, special, ancillary or other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Multimedia Product, as well as out of the ownership or poor functioning thereof, even if Ubisoft has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In particular, Ubisoft accepts no liability regarding use of the Multimedia Product contrary to the precautions for use set out in the manual and on the packaging.
As some legislations do not allow exemption from liability in the event of direct or incidental damages, it is possible that the aforementioned exclusion does not apply to the User.
This Licence to use the Multimedia Product grants specific rights to the User and he may have other rights depending on the laws in his State.
6- Limitazione della Garanzia

L'Utente si assume espressamente i rischi dell'utilizzo del presente Prodotto Multimediale.
Il Prodotto Multimediale è fornito così com'è, senza altra garanzia oltre quella espressamente prevista dall’articolo 5 della presente Licenza.
L'Utente è responsabile di ogni altro costo di riparazione e/o correczione del Prodotto Multimediale.
Secondo quanto previsto dalla legge, Ubisoft non fornisce garanzia relativa al valore di mercato del Prodotto Multimediale, rispetto alla soddisfazione dell'Utente o alla sua capacità di assolvere funzioni specifiche.
L’Utente assume tutti i rischi connessi a mancati introiti, alla perdita di dati, errori e/o altre informatzioni derivanti dall’utilizzo del presente Prodotto Multimediale.
Dal momento che alcune legislazioni non tengono conto della garanzia limitata precedentemente menzionata, è possibile che questa non sia applicabile.
SUPPLEMENTAL END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR MICROSOFT SOFTWARE ("Supplemental EULA")

I Componenti del Sistema Operativo in uso sono forniti da Microsoft per aggiornare, integrare o sostituire la esistente funzionalità dell’applicabile Prodotto del Sistema Operativo. Microsoft concede all’utente una licenza di utilizzo dei Componenti del Sistema Operativo in base ai termini e alle condizioni del Contratto di Licenza per il Prodotto del Sistema Operativo applicabile (da considerarsi parte integrante del presente Contratto di Licenza Supplementare salvo quanto specificato di seguito), in base ai termini e alle condizioni del presente Contratto di Licenza Supplementare e ai termini e alle condizioni di qualsiasi Contratto di Licenza aggiuntivo accluso ai Componenti del Sistema Operativo individuali (ognuno dei quali viene identificato come "Contratto di Licenza Individuale"), a condizione che si attenga a tutti i termini e condizioni. Nella misura in cui si verificasse un conflitto nei termini e nelle condizioni applicabili ai Componenti del Sistema Operativo, verrà applicato il seguente ordine di priorità: 1) i termini e le condizioni del Contratto di Licenza Individuale; 2) i termini e le condizioni del presente Contratto di Licenza Supplementare; 3) i termini e le condizioni dell’applicabile Contratto di Licenza per il Prodotto del Sistema Operativo.
Diritti e limitazioni aggiuntivi.
* Qualora l’utente disponga di più copie validamente concesse in licenza del Prodotto del Sistema Operativo, potrà riprodurre, installare e utilizzare una copia del Componente del Sistema Operativo in quanto parte del suddetto Prodotto del Sistema Operativo su tutti i suoi computer che eseguono copie validamente concesse in licenza del Prodotto del Sistema Operativo, a condizione che utilizzi tali copie aggiuntive dei Componenti del Sistema Operativo in conformità con i termini e le condizioni di cui sopra. Per ogni copia validamente concessa in licenza del Prodotto del Sistema Operativo, l’utente potrà inoltre riprodurre una copia aggiuntiva dei Componenti del Sistema Operativo esclusivamente come copia di archivio o per un’eventuale reinstallazione dei Componenti del Sistema Operativo sul medesimo computer sul quale essi erano precedentemente installati. Microsoft mantiene la titolarità, i diritti e gli interessi relativi ai Componenti del Sistema Operativo. Microsoft si riserva tutti i diritti non espressamente concessi dal presente Contratto.
* Qualora i Componenti del Sistema Operativo vengano installati nell’ambito di un’organizzazione diversa dalla propria, prima di effettuare l’installazione dei Componenti del Sistema Operativo, sarà necessario confermare che l’utente finale (una persona fisica o giuridica) abbia ricevuto, letto e accettato i termini e le condizioni del presente Contratto.
* I Componenti del Sistema Operativo contengono tecnologia che consente alle applicazioni di essere condivise tra due o più computer, anche se un’applicazione è installata su di uno solo di essi. Questa tecnologia può essere utilizzata in congiunzione con tutti i prodotti Microsoft per conferenze a cui partecipano più utenti. Le presenti condizioni di licenza costituiscono il contratto tra Microsoft Corporation (o, in base al luogo di residenza del licenziatario, una delle sue consociate) e il licenziatario. Il licenziatario deve leggerle con attenzione. Le presenti condizioni si applicano al software Microsoft sopra indicato, inclusi gli eventuali supporti di memorizzazione sui quali è stato ricevuto. Le presenti condizioni si applicano inoltre a:

Qualora il licenziatario si attenga alle condizioni del presente contratto, disporrà dei diritti di seguito indicati.
1. INSTALLAZIONE E DIRITTI SULL’UTILIZZO. Il licenziatario potrà installare e utilizzare un numero qualsiasi di copie del software sui dispositivi del licenziatario.
2. AMBITO DI VALIDITÀ DELLA LICENZA. Il Software non viene venduto, ma è concesso in licenza. Il presente contratto concede al licenziatario solamente alcuni diritti di utilizzo del software. Microsoft si riserva tutti gli altri diritti. Nel limite massimo consentito dalla legge applicabile il licenziatario potrà utilizzare il software esclusivamente nei modi espressamente consentiti nel presente contratto. A tal fine, il licenziatario dovrà attenersi a qualsiasi limitazione tecnica presente nel software che gli consenta di utilizzarlo solo in determinati modi. Il licenziatario non potrà
• divulgare gli esiti di qualsiasi prova comparativa del software a terzi senza l’approvazione scritta di Microsoft,
• aggirare le limitazioni tecniche presenti nel software,
• decodificare, decompilare o disassemblare il software, fatta eccezione per i casi in cui tali attività siano espressamente consentite dalla legge applicabile, nonostante questa limitazione,
• effettuare più copie del software di quante specificate nel presente contratto o consentite dalla legge applicabile, nonostante questa limitazione,
• pubblicare il software per consentire ad altri di duplicarlo,
• concedere il software in locazione, leasing o prestito,
• trasferire il software o il presente contratto a terzi oppure
• utilizzare il software per fornire hosting di servizi commerciali.
3. COPIA DI BACKUP. Il licenziatario potrà effettuare una copia di backup del software. Il licenziatario potrà utilizzare tale copia esclusivamente per reinstallare il software.
4. DOCUMENTAZIONE. Qualsiasi persona che ha un accesso valido al computer o alla rete interna del licenziatario potrà duplicare e utilizzare la documentazione per fini di riferimento interno.
5. RESTRIZIONI ALL’ESPORTAZIONE. Il software è soggetto alle leggi e alle disposizione vigenti negli Stati Uniti in materia di controllo dell’esportazione. Il licenziatario dovrà attenersi a tutte le leggi e le disposizioni locali e internazionali applicabili al software in materia di controllo delle esportazioni. Queste leggi includono limitazioni circa le destinazioni, gli utenti finali e l’utilizzo finale. Per ulteriori informazioni, il licenziatario potrà visitare la pagina www.microsoft.com/exporting.
6. SERVIZI DI SUPPORTO TECNICO. Poiché questo software è fornito “così com’è”, non è prevista la fornitura di servizi di supporto tecnico da parte di Microsoft.
7. INTERO ACCORDO. Il presente accordo e le condizioni che disciplinano l’utilizzo dei i supplementi, degli aggiornamenti, dei servizi basato su Internet e dei servizi di supporto tecnico utilizzati dal licenziatario costituiscono l’intero accordo relativo al software ed ai servizi di supporto tecnico.
8. LEGGE APPLICABILE.
a. Stati Uniti. Qualora il software sia stato acquistato negli Stati Uniti, il presente contratto sarà disciplinato e interpretato esclusivamente in base alla legge dello Stato di Washington e tale legge si applicherà alle controversie aventi ad oggetto le eventuali violazioni del contratto stesso. Tutte le altri controversie, incluse quelle aventi ad oggetto al violazione delle leggi che disciplinano la tutela dei consumatori, la concorrenza sleale e l'illecito extracontrattuale, saranno disciplinate dalla legge dello stato di residenza del licenziatario.
b. Al di fuori degli Stati Uniti. Qualora il licenziatario abbia acquistato il software in qualsivoglia altro Paese, il presente contratto sarà disciplinato dalla legge di tale Stato.
9. EFFETTI GIURIDICI. Con il presente contratto vengono concessi alcuni diritti. La legge del Paese di residenza del licenziatario potrebbe riconoscere al licenziatario stesso ulteriori diritti. Il licenziatario potrebbe, inoltre, avere ulteriori diritti direttamente nei confronti del soggetto da cui ha acquistato il software. Il presente contratto non modifica i diritti del licenziatario che la legge del suo Paese di residenza non consente di limitare e/o modificare.
10. ESCLUSIONE DI GARANZIE. IL SOFTWARE È CONCESSO IN LICENZA “COSÌ COM’È”. IL LICENZIATARIO ASSUME OGNI RISCHIO DERIVANTE DALL’UTILIZZO DEL SOFTWARE. MICROSOFT NON RICONOSCE GARANZIE O CONDIZIONI ESPLICITE. IL PRESENTE CONTRATTO NON MODIFICA GLI EVENTUALI DIRITTI DEI CONSUMATORI RICONOSCIUTI AL LICENZIATARIO DALLA LEGGE LOCALE. Il licenziatario potrà divulgare gli esiti delle prove a condizione che si attenga alle seguenti condizioni: (1) il licenziatario dovrà divulgare tutte le informazioni necessarie alla replica delle prove, inclusi i dettagli completi e accurati della metodologia di prova comparativa adottata, gli script/i casi di prova, i parametri di ottimizzazione applicati, le piattaforme hardware e software oggetto delle prove, il nome e il numero di versione degli eventuali strumenti di prova di terzi utilizzati per eseguire le prove e il codice sorgente completo del set per la comparazione che è sviluppato da, o per, il licenziatario e che viene utilizzato per provare sia il Componente .NET che l’implementazione concorrente, (2) il licenziatario dovrà divulgare la data o le date in cui sono state eseguite le prove comparative, unitamente a informazioni specifiche sulla versione di tutti i prodotti software Microsoft oggetto delle prove, tra cui il Componente .NET, (3) la prova comparativa sia stata eseguita tenendo conto di tutti i consigli e i suggerimenti per l’ottimizzazione delle prestazioni contenuti nella documentazione del prodotto e/o sui siti Web del supporto tecnico di Microsoft e il licenziatario utilizzi gli ultimi aggiornamenti, patch e fix disponibili per il Componente .NET e il sistema operativo Microsoft in questione, (4) sarà sufficiente che il licenziatario divulghi quanto sopra indicato con uno strumento pubblicamente disponibile, quale un sito Web, a condizione che ogni divulgazione pubblica dei risultati delle prove comparative del licenziatario identifichi espressamente il sito pubblico che contiene le informazioni di cui è richiesta la divulgazione e (5) nessuna disposizione del presente articolo dovrà essere considerata quale rinuncia ad altri diritti di cui il licenziatario dispone al fine di condurre prove comparative. You may disclose the results of any benchmark test of the .NET Component, provided that you comply with the following terms: (1) you must disclose all the information necessary for replication of the tests, including complete and accurate details of your benchmark testing methodology, the test scripts/cases, tuning parameters applied, hardware and software platforms tested, the name and version number of any third party testing tool used to conduct the testing, and complete source code for the benchmark suite/harness that is developed by or for you and used to test both the .NET Component and the competing implementation(s); (2) you must disclose the date (s) that you conducted the benchmark tests, along with specific version information for all Microsoft software products tested, including the .NET Component; (3) your benchmark testing was performed using all performance tuning and best practice guidance set forth in the product documentation and/or on Microsoft’s support web sites, and uses the latest updates, patches and fixes available for the .NET Component and the relevant Microsoft operating system; (4) it shall be sufficient if you make the disclosures provided for above at a publicly available location such as a website, so long as every public disclosure of the results of your benchmark test expressly identifies the public site containing all required disclosures; and (5) nothing in this provision shall be deemed to waive any other right that you may have to conduct benchmark testing. The Licence
Ubisoft grants the User a non-exclusive and non-transferable Licence to use the Multimedia Product, but remains the owner of all the rights relating thereto.
Any rights not specifically transferred by this Licence remain the property of Ubisoft.
The Multimedia Product is licensed and not sold to the User, for private use.
The Licence does not confer any right or title to the Multimedia Product and cannot be understood as a transfer of intellectual property rights to the Multimedia Product.
THE MULTIMEDIA PRODUCT IS PROTECTED BY DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE (“DRM SOFTWARE”). Ownership of the Multimedia Product
The User recognises that all of the rights associated with the Multimedia Product and its components (in particular the titles, computer codes, themes, characters, character names, plots, stories, dialogues, places, concepts, images, photographs, animation, videos, music and text contained in the Multimedia Product), as well as the rights relating to the trademark, royalties and copyrights, are the property of Ubisoft and are protected by French regulations or other Laws, Treaties and international agreements concerning intellectual property.
Use of the Multimedia Product
The User is authorised to use the Multimedia Product in accordance with the instructions provided in the manual or on the packaging of the Multimedia Product.
The Licence is granted solely for private use.
It is not permitted:
To make copies of the Multimedia Product,
To operate the Multimedia Product commercially,
To use it contrary to morality or the laws in force,
To modify the Multimedia Product or create any derived work,
To transmit the Multimedia Product via a telephone network or any other electronic means, except during multi-player games on authorised networks,
To create or distribute unauthorised levels and/or scenarios,
To decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the Multimedia Product.
The User cannot sell, sublicense or lease the Multimedia Product to a third party.
The User can only transfer the Multimedia Product if the recipient agrees to the terms and conditions of the Licence. In this event, the User undertakes to transfer all components and documentation relating to the Multimedia Product. He also undertakes to delete any copy of the Multimedia Product from his computer. In this event, this Licence is automatically and immediately terminated.
The User acknowledges that Ubisoft may collect and use certain User data in accordance with the privacy policy accessible on the website http://www.ubi.com/UK/Info/Info.aspx?tagname=PrivacyPolicy.
Termination of the Licence
The Licence is effective from the first time the Multimedia Product is used.
It is terminated automatically by Ubisoft without notice if the User fails to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Licence.
Warranty
Ubisoft offers Technical Support. When you call, please be as specific as you can be about the problem you are experiencing and have the below details available:
The name of the manufacturer of your computer system
The brand and speed of the processor
How much RAM you have
The version number of windows you are using (if you aren’t sure, right-click on the my computer icon on your desktop and select ‘properties’)
The manufacturer name and model number of your video card, modem, and sound card.
Ubisoft guarantees to the original buyer of the Multimedia Product that the compact disc (CD) supplied with this Multimedia Product shall not show any fault during a normal-use period of ninety (90) days from the invoiced date of purchase, or any other longer warranty time period provided by applicable legislation.
Please return any defective Multimedia Product by registered letter together with this manual and your registration card if you have not already sent it to us. Please state your full name and address (including postcode), as well as the date and location of purchase. You may also exchange the multimedia product at the place of purchase.
If a disc is returned without proof of purchase or after the warranty period has expired, Ubisoft will choose either to repair or to replace it at customer expense. This warranty is invalid if the disc has been damaged through negligence, accident or misuse, or if it has been modified after acquisition.
Warranty Limitation
The User recognises expressly that he uses the Multimedia Product at his own risk.
The Multimedia Product is provided as is, without any warranty other than what is laid down in Article 5 of the Licence. The User is responsible for any costs of repairing and/or correcting the multimedia product.
To the extent of what is laid down by law, Ubisoft rejects any warranty relating to the market value of the Multimedia Product, the User’s satisfaction or its capacity to perform a specific use.
The User is responsible for all risks connected with lost profit, lost data, errors and lost business or other information as a result of owning or using the multimedia product.
As some legislations do not allow for the aforementioned warranty limitation, it is possible that it does not apply to the User.
Liability
In no event can Ubisoft be held liable for any direct, consequential, accidental, special, ancillary or other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Multimedia Product, as well as out of the ownership or poor functioning thereof, even if Ubisoft has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In particular, Ubisoft accepts no liability regarding use of the Multimedia Product contrary to the precautions for use set out in the manual and on the packaging.
As some legislations do not allow exemption from liability in the event of direct or incidental damages, it is possible that the aforementioned exclusion does not apply to the User.
This Licence to use the Multimedia Product grants specific rights to the User and he may have other rights depending on the laws in his State.

You may disclose the results of any benchmark test of the .NET Component, provided that you comply with the following terms: (1) you must disclose all the information necessary for replication of the tests, including complete and accurate details of your benchmark testing methodology, the test scripts/cases, tuning parameters applied, hardware and software platforms tested, the name and version number of any third party testing tool used to conduct the testing, and complete source code for the benchmark suite/harness that is developed by or for you and used to test both the .NET Component and the competing implementation(s); (2) you must disclose the date (s) that you conducted the benchmark tests, along with specific version information for all Microsoft software products tested, including the .NET Component; (3) your benchmark testing was performed using all performance tuning and best practice guidance set forth in the product documentation and/or on Microsoft’s support web sites, and uses the latest updates, patches and fixes available for the .NET Component and the relevant Microsoft operating system; (4) it shall be sufficient if you make the disclosures provided for above at a publicly available location such as a website, so long as every public disclosure of the results of your benchmark test expressly identifies the public site containing all required disclosures; and (5) nothing in this provision shall be deemed to waive any other right that you may have to conduct benchmark testing. Ownership of the Multimedia Product
The User recognises that all of the rights associated with the Multimedia Product and its components (in particular the titles, computer codes, themes, characters, character names, plots, stories, dialogues, places, concepts, images, photographs, animation, videos, music and text contained in the Multimedia Product), as well as the rights relating to the trademark, royalties and copyrights, are the property of Ubisoft and are protected by French regulations or other Laws, Treaties and international agreements concerning intellectual property.
Use of the Multimedia Product
The User is authorised to use the Multimedia Product in accordance with the instructions provided in the manual or on the packaging of the Multimedia Product.
The Licence is granted solely for private use.
It is not permitted namely:
To make copies of the Multimedia Product,
To operate the Multimedia Product commercially,
To use it contrary to morality or the laws in force,
To modify the Multimedia Product or create any derived work,
To transmit the Multimedia Product via a telephone network or any other electronic means, except during multi-player games on authorised networks,
To create or distribute unauthorised levels and/or scenarios,
To decompile, reverse engineer or disassemble the Multimedia Product.
The User cannot sell, sublicense or lease the Multimedia Product to a third party.
The User can only transfer the Multimedia Product if the recipient agrees to the terms and conditions of the Licence. In this event, the User undertakes to transfer all components and documentation relating to the Multimedia Product. He also undertakes to delete any copy of the Multimedia Product from his computer. In this event, this Licence is automatically and immediately terminated.
The User acknowledges that Ubisoft may collect and use certain User data in accordance with the privacy policy accessible on the website http://www.ubi.com/enca/Info/Info.aspx?tagname=PrivacyPolicy.
Termination of the Licence
The Licence is effective from the first time the Multimedia Product is used.
It is terminated automatically by Ubisoft without notice if the User fails to adhere to the terms and conditions of the Licence.
Warranty
Ubisoft warrants to the original purchaser of its products that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Ubisoft products are sold "as is", without any expressed or implied warranties of any kind, and Ubisoft is not liable for any losses or damages of any kind resulting from use of its products. Ubisoft agrees for a period of ninety (90) days (or any other longer warranty timeperiod provided by applicable legislation) to either replace defective product free of charge provided you return the defective item with dated proof of purchase to the store from which the product was originally purchased or repair or replace the defective product at its option free of charge, when accompanied with a proof of purchase and sent to our offices postage prepaid. This warranty is not applicable to normal wear and tear, and shall be void if the defect in the product is found to be as a result of abuse, unreasonable use, mistreatment or neglect of the product.
After the warranty period, please return the Multimedia Product (media only) with a check or money order for the amount of $25 made payable to Ubisoft, a brief description of the difficulty you are experiencing including your name address and phone number.
Warranty Limitation
The User recognises expressly that he uses the Multimedia Product at his own risk.
The Multimedia Product is provided as is. The User is responsible for any costs of repairing and/or correcting the Multimedia Product.
To the extent of what is laid down by the Law, Ubisoft rejects any warrantee relating to the market value of the Multimedia Product, the User’s satisfaction or its capacity to perform a specific use.
The User is responsible for all risks connected with lost profit, lost data, errors and lost business or other information as a result of owning or using the Multimedia Product.
As some legislations do not allow for the aforementioned warrantee limitation, it is possible that it does not apply to the User.
Liability
In no event can Ubisoft be held liable for any direct, consequential, accidental, special, ancillary or other damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Multimedia Product, as well as out of the ownership or poor functioning thereof, even if Ubisoft has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
In particular, Ubisoft accepts no liability regarding use of the Multimedia Product contrary to the precautions for use set out in the manual and on the packaging.
As some legislations do not allow exemption from liability in the event of direct or incidental damages, it is possible that the aforementioned exclusion does not apply to the User.

anything related to the software, services, content (including code) on third party Internet sites, or third party programs; and
claims for breach of contract, breach of warranty, guarantee or condition, strict liability, negligence, or other tort to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Microsoft Corporation (or based on where you live, one of its affiliates) licenses this supplement to you. If you are licensed to use Microsoft Windows operating system software (the “software”), you may use this supplement. You may not use it if you do not have a license for the software. You may use a copy of this supplement with each validly licensed copy of the software.
The following license terms describe additional use terms for this supplement. These terms and the license terms for the software apply to your use of this supplement. If there is a conflict, these supplemental license terms apply.

SUPPORT SERVICES FOR SUPPLEMENT. Microsoft provides support services for this supplement as described at www.support.microsoft.com/common/international.aspx.
MICROSOFT .NET FRAMEWORK BENCHMARK TESTING. This supplement includes the .NET Framework component of the Windows operating systems (“.NET Component”). You may conduct internal benchmark testing of the .NET Component. You may disclose the results of any benchmark test of the .NET Component, provided that you comply with the following terms: (1) you must disclose all the information necessary for replication of the tests, including complete and accurate details of your benchmark testing methodology, the test scripts/cases, tuning parameters applied, hardware and software platforms tested, the name and version number of any third party testing tool used to conduct the testing, and complete source code for the benchmark suite/harness that is developed by or for you and used to test both the .NET Component and the competing implementation(s); (2) you must disclose the date (s) that you conducted the benchmark tests, along with specific version information for all Microsoft software products tested, including the .NET Component; (3) your benchmark testing was performed using all performance tuning and best practice guidance set forth in the product documentation and/or on Microsoft’s support web sites, and uses the latest updates, patches and fixes available for the .NET Component and the relevant Microsoft operating system; (4) it shall be sufficient if you make the disclosures provided for above at a publicly available location such as a website, so long as every public disclosure of the results of your benchmark test expressly identifies the public site containing all required disclosures; and (5) nothing in this provision shall be deemed to waive any other right that you may have to conduct benchmark testing. The foregoing obligations shall not apply to your disclosure of the results of any customized benchmark test of the .NET Component, whereby such disclosure is made under confidentiality in conjunction with a bid request by a prospective customer, such customer’s application(s) are specifically tested and the results are only disclosed to such specific customer. Notwithstanding any other agreement you may have with Microsoft, if you disclose such benchmark test results, Microsoft shall have the right to disclose the results of benchmark tests it conducts of your products that compete with the .NET Component, provided it complies with the same conditions above.
