1. License Grant

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Game for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to this Agreement.

You do not own the Game; you are licensing it.

2. Restrictions

You agree NOT to:

Copy, reproduce, or distribute the Game except as permitted by law
Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Game
Use the Game for commercial purposes without written permission
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or branding
Use cheats, automation software, or exploits that affect gameplay integrity (if applicable)

3. Ownership

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Game, including but not limited to:

Code
Art assets
Music
Design

are owned by the Developer and protected by copyright and other laws.

4. User Content (if applicable)

If the Game allows user-generated content:

You retain ownership of your content
You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Game

5. Updates and Changes

We may update the Game and this Agreement from time to time. Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

The Game is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee:

The Game will be error-free
The Game will run uninterrupted
Compatibility with all systems

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Game

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated.

It will terminate automatically if you violate this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete all copies of the Game.

9. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Austria, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. Steam Platform

The Game is distributed via Steam and may be subject to additional terms from Valve Corporation. This Agreement does not replace or override Steam’s terms.

By installing or playing Alaric, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Agreement and agree to be bound by its terms.
